Dublin LGFA weekly notes:

AIG Dublin Feile:

AIG Dublin Feile takes place this coming weekend 19th and 20th of May following its postponement back in April owing to the poor weather conditions. In total 60 teams will do battle across 8 divisions this coming Saturday combining in over 1440 players participating in what will be a wonderful festival of football. Good luck to all participating clubs and their management teams.

Leinster U16 Championship Final:

This coming Sunday Dublin will play Kildare in the final of the Leinster U16 championship at 3.45pm in Clane GAA club. All in Dublin would like to wish all the girls and their management team the very best of luck and would encourage Dublin supporters to make the relatively short journey to Clane to support the girls in what will be a tough championship encounter with provincial neighbours, Kildare.

All Ireland U14 Blitz:

Two teams from the Capital took part in the All -Ireland U14 blitz last Saturday in Portlaoise. Our A team competed admirably in division 1 while our B team had a wonderful tournament coming through their group games in division 3 unbeaten. Dublin B went onto win the division with an impressive display versus Tyrone in the final. Images from the event can be viewed on GAApics.com

Registrations 2018:

Clubs are reminded that the deadline for registrations is fast approaching. Players mentors and club delegates who were last registered in 2017 must have their registrations renewed on or before May 31st.

May County Board Meeting:

The Dublin LGFA meeting for May will take place on Tuesday May 15th at 7:30pm sharp in Parnell Park.
