Weekly notes 12th of March 2018:
March County Board meeting:
A meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday the 20th of March at 7.30pm sharp in Parnell Park. The AIG Feile gradings for 2018 will be the main item on the meeting’s agenda. Clubs are requested to have at least one (registered) delegate in attendance.
Leinster Minor Championship:
Dublin begin the defence of the Minor Leinster title with a quarter final meeting with Laois, next Sunday March 18 in Annanough GAA club, Stradbally Co Laois at 2pm. Dublin LGFA will have LIVE score updates from this game available via their Twitter account @dublinladiesg
GFP O’Connor Cup weekend:
Congratulations to DCU Dóchas Éireann on winning the O’Connor Cup final versus UL on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-17. The match report from the game is available to read on www.ladiesgaelic.ie
Well done also to the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland who won the Donaghy cup final defeating DCU Dóchas Éireann on the score line of 4-08 to 1-08.
Child First & Safeguarding level 2 Workshop:
The Child First & Safeguarding level 2 workshop due to take place on March 12th at 7pm in Parnells GAA club, Chanel college, Coolock has been POSTPONED. A new date for the workshop will be issued to clubs shortly apologises for any inconvenience caused.
Registrations:
Clubs are reminded that all players must be registered with their clubs to be eligible to train and play. Can all club mentors please check with their club registers as to the status of all their players to ensure all are registered and are subsequently covered under the LGFA injury fund scheme.
