Dublin U16’s looking to retain Leinster crown


Steve Davis Dublin U16’s take on challengers Meath in the final of the Leinster championship this coming Saturday at 3:30pm in Clane GAA Club, Co Kildare.


Both teams come into Saturday’s game on the back of good championship campaigns and will have prepared diligently for this latest encounter.


Dublin have accounted for Longford, Laois and Meath in the group stages but Manager Steve Davis will be aware that Meath would have learnt a lot from the encounter on the 12th of March last and will hoping to give his chargers a severe test in the final.


The girls from the Capital will be looking to lift the U16 championship title for a 8th year in a row while Meath will be determined to stop their neighbours from obtaining a clean sweep of Leinster underage crowns as Dublin have already secured the U14 and Minor titles this season.
