Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

Congratulations to all our AIG Dublin Feile winners; Foxrock Cabinteely, Castleknock, Erins Isle, Round Towers C, O’Tooles, Westmanstown Gaels, Garristown, Whitehall Colmcille and Na Fianna.

Foxrock Cabinteely and Westmanstown Gaels will go on now to represent Dublin in the National Feile which is taking place on June 23rd – 25th in Cavan, Fermanagh and Monaghan.


As this was our biggest Feile to date with would like to sincerely thank all 17 host clubs, our venue coordinators, our match officials and everyone who helped make Feile 2017 the success it was.

Thank you to St Peregrines, Fingallians and Trinity Gaels who hosted our finals on Sunday.


We would like to offer our appreciation also to our Feile sponsor AIG whose support of Dublin LGFA is truly appreciated by us all.


Our Minor team have qualified for the Leinster final following their 2-11 to 2-06 while our senior team had a superb win away from home versus Galway in the NFL FT score Dublin 2-10 Galway 2-06.


This weekend our U14 team travel to Laois in the LFC while our U16 are also on the road away to Longford. Best wishes to both squads and their management teams.


Reminder to clubs that players not registered in 2016 and new players must now be registered in order to take part in club training sessions, challenge games and official matches. Players not registered are not covered under the LGFA injury fund. Clubs found to have played unregistered players may be subject to a fine and loss of match points so please verify all players’ registration status with your club registrar before taking to the field of play.
